Invite a friend

Every account has a personal invite code. When someone creates an account with it and subscribes to Plus or Premium, both of you get a free month.

Find and share your code

1. Open Settings and scroll to the Referrals card.
2. Your code is your username (with a number added only if someone else already had the same one). It never changes.
3. Use Copy link to copy your invite link: it is the app's address with your code at the end (for example /r/yourcode), and anyone who opens it lands on sign-up with the code already applied. Copy code copies just the code, for a friend who prefers to type it, and Share on a phone sends the link through any app.

The card also shows how many friends signed up with your code, how many of them already went paid, and the total free days you have received.

What your friend does

1. Opens your link, or goes to sign-up and creates an account. Without a link, the page right after sign-up asks for an invite code; they can type yours there or skip it.
2. Picks Plus or Premium and completes checkout, entering a card and billing address as usual.
3. Nothing is charged at checkout. The plan starts right away and the first 30 days are free; the card is charged for the first time when those days end.

A code only applies to new accounts: someone who already paid for a plan cannot add one afterwards. An account can use one code, once, and you cannot use your own.

What you get

The moment your friend's checkout completes with a card on file, 30 free days are added to your plan:

• On Plus or Premium: your next billing date moves 30 days later. Nothing changes on your card until then.
• On Starter: you get Plus for 30 days (or the paid plan you had last, if you had one before), with no card required. When the days end you go back to Starter, unless you add a card under Manage in the Billing card to keep the plan.

There is no limit: every friend who goes paid adds another 30 days, and the days stack one after the other. Free days do not start while your friend is deciding, only once they have paid with a valid card.

Following your free days

The Billing card in Settings shows the status Free month while free days are running, with the end date, how many days are left and, when a card is on file, the date of the next billing. See Settings.

Good to know

• Free days apply to your current plan: 30 free days on Premium are worth a Premium month.
• A friend's referral replaces promotion codes: the checkout with a referral does not show the promo code field.
• If your friend cancels during their free month, your days stay; they were earned when the card was added.
